The Student Nurses’ Association of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing Balmatta, Mangaluru, celebrated Teacher’s Dayon 6th September 2024at LMET auditorium ,Mangaluru. To acknowledge the contributions of teachers towards preparing the nurses of tomorrow.1st year BSc(N)studentMs.Diya TS sang an invocation.Dr. Larissa Martha Sams Principal, LMCN, held the garlanding ceremony ofDr. Sarvepalli Radhkrishana’s portrait as a sign of respect and honour.As a part of the celebration, students felicitated all the teachers with flowers, entertained them with the cultural program, followed by cutting the cake and some entertaining fun games for teachers.The program came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Anna Annet Joshy of 3RDyearBS.c (N). Ms. Ashley Grace Varghesefrom 3rd year B.S.c(N) anchored the program. SNA Advisor Mrs. Sofiya Riyana and Vice President Ms.Nahid KU co-coordinated the program. The commemoration of Teachers’ Day involved participation from all faculty members and an SNA representative.
